Reporting & Data Quality
Every job can produce a rich set of reports so you can see how many duplicates were found, how your lists overlapped, and how the results were built - then refine and rerun.
Reporting overview
Matching is an iterative process: run a job, review the results, adjust your rules, and run again. Reports are how you close that loop. Match IQ produces a comprehensive set of pre-formatted reports containing both statistics and actual record data, so you can confirm you got the results you wanted before acting on them.
What the reports tell you
The reports fall into a few natural groups:
- Duplicates found - see the duplicate and match groups Match IQ identified, and how records were ranked within each group.
- Input quality - understand the condition and completeness of each input file and its records before matching.
- List & overlap analysis - see which records came from which lists, what matched between lists, and how your lists shaped the output - the foundation for multi-buyer and source analysis.
- Output & job summary - a summary of the records written, the output files created, and overall job statistics, with an executive summary for a quick, shareable snapshot.
- Match results - for rule-based matching, a detailed view of why records did or didn't match, which is invaluable when tuning rules.
Predict before you commit
Because purging or consolidating is destructive, Match IQ lets you predict the outcome of a job first - producing the reports and counts as if the job had run, without actually changing your data. You can review what would happen, adjust your rules, and only commit once you're confident.
Formats & statistics files
Reports can be generated as PDF for readable documents, or as XML and JSON when you want to feed results into dashboards or automated quality checks. Match IQ can also emit machine-readable statistics files, giving you programmatic access to virtually any metric about a job.
